Hanzu Hai Shashi is dead.

Well, it's not a movie...only a damn fool would make a movie based on a franchise that hasn't been relevant for 15 years.

What it looks like is Warner Bros. is finally going to do something with their newly acquired franchise. I guess the above video is the beginning of the hype machine for:

this looks.........................dont know if i want to say terrible or awesome. Some things look cool, and some dont. So for the moment im not sure what i think about it, if you hadnt already figured this out.

this is a pretty awesome take on the game, make it more real life and gotham city-ish lol
but its pretty awesome, a lot of original stories, and it made me laugh when Baraka German Suplexed Johnny Cage

Well that doesn't mean it isn't going to happen. It just means it will be a lot longer before we see it in theaters if they actually pick it up.

Judging from the response from fans, hopefully WB has the sense to pick this up and put it into production.

I would imagine that, if a film was going to be developed, then it would probably hinge on the success of Mortal Kombat 9.

The Mortal Kombat movie will be out in 2013.

Was just about to post this, and it made me happy! I predict MK9 to have characters looking exactly like those in the film.

Also dead Johnny Cage made me sadface.

LOL! The director submitted it in a job app XD. I'd say that would get him the job and a new project at the same time!
