TF2 for Mac Tomorrow!

You guys are daft! They say tomorrow, it will be out later this week.

As for the possible inclusion of an engi update, I can tell you with almost complete certainty that the engi update will be in there. Why do I know this, you ask? I don't. But, it's Murphy's Law. I'm a huge, HUUUUUUGE engi fan. Almost double the playtime of any other class, at about 120 hours. I know 120 hours isn't much, but I did kinda quit playing TF2 for a long while, so I consider that to be worth about double of what someone who has played more or less since release. Anyhow, I knew that the engi update, according to Murphy's Law, would come out at such a time that I would be completely and totally unable to play it.

The engi update will come out tomorrow. I work 10 hours tomorrow, which usually means I work 11-11.5 hours. Then on Friday I have a rehearsal dinner. Then on Saturday, I get married. Sunday we have gift opening, transporting said gifts home and putting them away, and generally being hung over and exhausted. Monday through Wednesday, I work more. Then Thursday, we pack and prepare to leave on the honeymoon. Friday we fly to Miami, and leave on a cruise Saturday. We will not be back home for a week, after which I will have one day off to recooperate and unpack and nurse my poor poor sunburnt ginger skin, before going back to work.

Thank you Valve, and thank you Murphy. I hate you.

nope, the engie update might start tomorrow, AKA the lead up to the update itself, but the Engineer update will not be included in tomorrow's patch.

You guys need to remember, they don't just say 'ITS OUT!' They have a 4-6 day build up before its release.

i doubt it due to valve time and there servers can barly take the tf2 updates with out slowing down to a crawl so imagine the update plus tons of mac users downloading the whole game.

gosh i hope the engi update comes out tomorrow. Last day of school and the engie update! I might have a heart attack!

everyone is gonna go engie tomorow then xD

My guess is that they might do something like they did with the sniper/spy update...

IE, have a big thing for the mac release, but then have it 'sabotaged' by the engie, or something, and release the mac update at the same time as the engie update, in about a week.

that's my thought, anyhow. seems silly to ship a big update for mac, and then immediately have them updating themselves for the engie update.

I for some odd reason think not I'm sad to say I love to play as an engie but, i don't think they will they normally announce it a week a head of the big up date except for the classless and the 119th ones.

lol i get where Dreadmaker is coming from... the engineer is the mastermind behind TF2 for the Mac!
and the next week will be spent engy-less as he is off trying to fix all the bugs and performance issues.

dagnabit damnit!

Why do people always skim over this? The only update that didn't have the buildup and the teaser pages was the medic update, and that's because that was first.

Hopefully they will START the engi update tomorrow, and have a freeweekend like they always do.

This way they can time it with the Mac users and give them a chance to play the game for free. Sounds like perfect timing, doesn't it?
