Sound card front ports?

Ok, so the front ports on my computer are NOT working. Do I know why? no. This is why I have come to the great minds of eGO. I have everything plugged in correctly, it's just not working. Any help??? If necessary, ask me to post the specs.

You need to have your sound drivers installed, usually.

If that is not the case, what motherboard are you using?

Make sure the front panel connector is connected to your motherboard header. It should be labeled.

Ok well, i have the drivers installed, and it still doesn't detect front ports. So my motherboard is god knows what. the case is an m9400t from HP...gay. the sound card looks like it's a sound blaster x-fi titanium (according to the bottom of the case). I updated the drivers etc. I'm starting to just get pissed off at HP.
