Ah! Not true! I told you I analyzed all of the top ones.

HOWEVER...something about a 206.3 captures per hour made me beyond suspicious of your abilities. 3.4 captures a minute? I would love to see this.

In fact, this entire stat line made little to no sense to me:

Haha. First of all, for those of you that pointed me to this thread with the "omgosh look what they're saying about jooo!11!", don't worry about it. It is mostly true. A ton of the time that I play assault is when I'm trying to help start servers. As Blue pointed out, many of those comments are not necessarily questioning my skill but helping educate that my caps may be inflated in the Assault category.

I honestly never thought that I'd be in the running for best assault, I don't play it that much but it's fun to be included. And as for the caps, people who play with me (regardless of the amount of people in the server) know that I push forward towards the objectives. And I will never be ashamed of the fact that I try to help start eGO servers and keep them populated early and late in the day (and I understand that it can indeed skew "who is the best at allied assault" though).

As to who I voted for, I think assault is an extremely tough category to judge. Harder than the allied rifleman for me, b/c with riflemen I at least knew a few that I respected/had to alter my strategy against. As far as Allied Assault, meh, thompson dudes are a dime a dozen and usually don't leave a large impression on me. Spartan/Wizard/Feruk are all ok I guess but I've never really considered them the finest Allied Assault in eGO and most of them would choose a much different class as their specialty (as would I, heh). Goomba does deserve a vote as a consistent assault player (and a master taunter and enjoyable person to play with) but other will most likely dominate as it should. Tough to nail down this category, as I'm sure YSD has discovered.
 
TechDre, he might not be the most dominant stats wise but he consistently changes the game while playing assault on Ava and is great at those surprise jump from the sky Thompson shots.
 
Well i just went on my steam after YoSpankDawg said something about my stats and he was right my stats got screwed up somehow because i have a lot more kills with assault than 717 and more than 12.3 hours in with that class not sure how it happened but it looks like some stats got changed and some didnt witch kind off sucks because i dont get a fair chance to participate in this pole thanks YoSpankDawg for pointing this out to me i have to see if there is a way to fix that or something if anyone has suggestions please let me know ill probably make a thread about it o yeah and i voted other and put Dutchoper72 hes the only one i experienced first hand assault

Agreed. And I still went with you cause I play Goomba a lot so he's become easy for me to kill (still amazing player though) and you are a really good player.

Honestly, most classes are going to be hard for this or that reason. The way I see it though, is that if I put out a list that's "right" and nobody can question, I haven't done my job, lol.

Yes it's true u do dominate me when ur on Kalt with me but I clear that bridge like it nothing way more times than just BBF. Dutch is a great player and gets way bigger killstreaks than what he got on BBF. Yes every does have that great killstreak that they love, but stats will never be, in my opinion, what shows a great player. As many posts say before, them guys can only play early mornings and late nights. I would like London to be up there, not because of his stats, but because he does what an assault should do, lead the team, scout for mg's and clear a building or sewers.

I don't really like these threads, I think it causes or will cause flaming.

Lol, that's only cause I sometimes write things like I just did to pull more guys into the conversation. :cool:

And good points about London. Also, I kinda take back what I said, because I forgot that London is a beast and leads charges on Avalanche too, so he isn't really just a one-map wonder. However, he is his finest (and sometimes it appears unstoppable) in the Kalt sewers.
 
I said other, because of my old donner days. Nothing beats being called a hacker by francis yu and accused of aimbotting. The axis used to hate me there. Sometimes...........sometimes I miss that thompson.

Well...I am thinking that there is more of a game change or adjustment made for Goomba or London than there is for Dutch--at least from everything I have seen. And a person's favorite class doesn't really matter, if they are good at it...
