Fun PS3 Multiplayer Game?

Looking to buy a PS3 MP game that is fun.

I'm thinking between Resistance 2 and Killzone 2.

R2 has a 30v30 mode which sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm not sure I care for another "Serious" FPS like Killzone 2 since I have Bad Company 2 on PC.

What I mean by serious is a game where you sneak around looking for someone to kill and trying to avoid being scene. I think a good example would be TF2 (Non-serious gameplay) Bad Company 2(Serious gameplay).

If you guys have any opinions/suggestions I'm willing to listen :)

P.S. I like co-op games. And I'm looking to buy the copy used (probably less than $25).

Little Big Planet is an amazing co-op game. You can play the entire game with up to four people, or even just mess around on your own maps, or others custom maps. Its incredibly fun.

Killzone 2 reminds me of a cross between TF2 and Bad Company. The FOV is frustrating to me though, and you have to unlock the different classes & weapons, so you'll start with a serious disadvantage over other players. Uncharted 2 is pretty fun...I haven't played it in a while so I don't know if a lot of people still play it. Mod Nation Racers is pretty fun for a cart racer.
 
Resistance 2 is a very fun game online and co-op wise. It also has splitscreen on the co-op and mp parts of it. Its not a incredibly serious game, as in BC2, but it is very fun in its own way.

Coming right off of BC2, Killzone 2 might be a bit of same-old-same-old sort of thing. It is a great game but the two are kind of similar.

Also, if you are looking for others:
Uncharted 2: Great offline and online, bunch of different co-op modes as well
Warhawk: Takes a bit getting used to and the people are insanely good at it but the online is fun. A bit like Battlefield though.
Wipeout HD: Racing game but some fun co-op and some really fun fast-paced gameplay

PSN is d10sfan if youd like to play sometime. Ive got all of those I listed (except Killzone 2)

LBP = Best PS3 Game
Modnation Racers is pretty fun, but not worth $60 in my opinion. I regret buying it before the price went down.

If you're just looking for a game to dick around with your friends in, Just Cause 2. It is single player, but the hilarity of the game makes up for the lack of multiplayer.
 
im just curious, what all can u do in just cause 2 just 4 the fun & hilarity of?
 
You should get Red Dead Redemption for PS3. It is very fun and if you know people who play it, it's 10 times as fun. There is 6 new co-op levels coming out on the 22nd and it's going to be free. The campaign is very fun, but I haven't even beaten it yet because I am having a blast on multiplayer!
 
Just Cause is a sandbox game, go anywhere, do anything. I think of it as GTA4, except being in the US, you're in a city called Panau. You also have a grappling hook. Ftw

That game is just like Red Dead Redemption... But it's in the western times.. So instead of jeeps, parachutes and a grappling hook, you have a horse. But you can also get bulls if you level high enough. But they are both very fun..
 
Resistance 2, LBP are all good. R2 has coop(I think :p) and then the big battles, although I'm not sure how many people still play it. LBP is always active. I've heard ModNation is good, but I'm not a kart racer kind of guy. MAG is great too, but it's still a bit 'serious' like KZ2.
 
There are lot of co-op games available. I have chosen best game such as Mass effect two, Bio shock two, Metal gear solid four. In which you will have get multi player action. I have played all that game. I hope that You will also enjoy it. I wish that I will find more action and also co-op game and come with this stage.
