So this morning I wake up and my monitor is on idle...
Well I press a key so it can go out of idle.
It doesn't.
I checked if EVERYTHING is plugged in, replugged it and tried again, still, nothing. I tried for 2 hours and finally it worked. I got it to work but I fear if I turn off my computer or anything it will have the same problem.
When I tried to start the monitor, it would just flash.
After awhile I just pressed buttons and finally it flashed Analog and Digital. It's always on Analog, and the first time I saw it I pressed 'source' on my monitor. It's a Samsung 19in LCD black monitor.
So seeing the Analog thing I had some sort of hope so I tried to restart the computer and pressing source a lot. It worked, It started up and I saw DELL and it loading up microsoft.
But then it stopped when it was getting to the login screen. It stopped 3 times before it got to the login screen
So the 4th time I turned the monitor off before the start up screen, waited about 3 seconds then turned the monitor back on and it worked.
But going through all that was a hassle. Does anyone know how to maybe fix it so it neverrrrrrrrrrrrr ever happens again?
I updated the drivers the second the computer started. I hope it doesn't stop working again </3
