steam ad problem!

sometimes when i get off a steam game the ad doesnt pop up. and when i go to play another steam game it says that only one game can be played at a time. but the problem is i cant find the ad! any answers?

If you don't have a game open and its doing that it might just be a small bug. Try going into your C:\Program Files\Steam - delete clientregistry.blob and AppUpdateStats.blob and restart steam.
