Hello TF2 Division! Help me out here.

Ok so i just got tf2 today because it was only 10$ and i need help on something. when i go into game after the loading screen it becomes an all black screen. is that suppose to happen? i doubt it, can anyone help out.

Verify Game Cache Files and see if that helps. If not then try and look around on google, if still not working, goto Steam Support, if that doesnt work, panic and slam keyboard into monitor.

Are you on a laptop? TF2 is much more demanding than CS:S.

You can try the usual rubbish - update video drivers... idk what else...

Did you check the minimum requirements for TF2? Do you know enough about computers to understand minimum requirements or not? I'm assuming "no" for both but it's better to ask than to assume.

Its probably your laptop. The majority of laptops cannot handle TF2 well.

Really? Say that to my ASUS UL50VT. It handles TF2 well enough for a laptop. around 60 to 80 when not in battle around 30 to 40 when there is alot going on on the screen.

Do what some of these people are saying, check the minimum requirements and if that works put your settings on the lowest and try joining a game that way first and slowly increase graphics and see what happens. If all else fails send a steam ticket and tell them the problems you are having and wait for a response. Thats pretty much all I can say on this subject.

In case you are not aware, most (iSimon: "the majority") of laptops do not come with a dedicated GPU, mostly because it adds cost and people don't need a dedicated GPU. I get 200fps with nothing going on, but that doesn't help p_vun, nor is it really relevant.
