problem with TF2

[IrateDonnie]

I keep having a problem seeing the chat while in game. Usually if I hit "Y" or "U" it will pop up, but now whenever I do it the chat box comes up but I can't get rid of it. I could live with it if I could use my mouse with the chat box there but all I can do is WASD and fire my weapon:facewall:. Has anyone else had to fix this problem? Or is it an update issue? Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm not sure if it's a wide spread problem or just maybe it's you.
But you could always try reseting your controls to default. Even if they already are. I would try that
