Whats a good Ethernet cable?

I need a ethernet cable to connect from my bros splitter to my room.
And roughly 25-100 feet.

Also i have fans from another computer can i put them in my case?

I personally have no preference over the brand of the Ethernet cable. They pretty much all do the same thing.

Also whats a good way to go from down the hall?
I have two doors not including me and my bros door.
I was just thinking going from splitter down under the door, down the floor under my door and to my comp?

If you go to your hardware store, you can get little hooks which you can guide the cord with if you so choose. For instance, I have my ethernet cord running from the router, along the ground and around 2 doorways and under the door into my room.

If you would like to buy locally, i would recommend Target. Very good prices on ethernet cables, especially the longer ones as most stores overcharge like hell on items like this. Think i got my 50 footer for about 15 bucks.

Just go to a local shop and buy one from there if it possible. No need really to order one of these.

I use MonoPrice.com for all my cable needs. All the audio/video/usb/etc cable running to my Home Theater is from there (about $200 worth).

They have a good selection of Cat6 (ethernet) cables at different lengths, available here.

Perhaps it's not worth the trouble to order online, if you can find a good local deal, though.

Brand doesn't matter. Whether or not they're cheaply made doesn't matter. It's hard/nearly impossible to mess up an ethernet cable.

Monoprice is bomb.

Back at my old house we lifted up the carpet and put the cable under the carpet then set it back in. When we got rid of the carpet we just routed all the cables through the walls by installing ethernet outlet boxes in all the rooms.
