Scar I'd like to make my own
What are the sizes + file formats you need to make it?
 
The text blends into the background, you're using too light colors. I also see a lot of layer styles being used. It's more or less 2 images, a cloud filter, layer styles and text sayign edgegamers organization. It also fails the menu. I think from an artists view it's much too light for my tastes.
 
I have the same problem... I put the console folder in my materials folder and theres nothing to overwrite/merge and nothing to delete. It doesnt work

I'm guessing you have photo shop so all you need to do is download a plug in that allows you to save your images as a .vtf file, make the image the right size for your monitor then just save the file in your cstrike/materials/console as background01 in the .vtf format (if the folders are not there just create them) you may have to overwrite the old background image.

Like I said it is just a basic background, I made this in about 2 minutes. Not everyone has the resources or knowledge needed to make graphics for games an such, so i just made a simple one for those people.
Oh and the menu is not my work that was done by Pickles.


As for the background not working I'm not sure what the problem is, it works for some people but not for others :/
