So in a not so recent update, you have been given the option to automatically reload. So people say this is a straight up upgrade and everyone should activate it.

However, there are times where i have it on, and while im reloading i can't seem to hit anything very accurately (which in comp, is crucial) and then i will turn it of and Bam, 9-2 streak, 6-0m 7-1.

I dont know if it' a euphoric thing, but i feel that when im shooting while im auto reloading, i dont hit my crosshair, and it's almost like there's a split second difference in fire rate.

Does anyone else feel this way or am i just crazy?

I'm not sure, I've had it on for quite a while, but I'll have to try playing with it off for a bit tonight to see.

i used to not having auto reload on, but then i am now using it. I use it for some classes like scout, soldier..etc Just don't use it on spies. I get used to so its no big deal when u get used to it.

I always have it off, I just have the habit of reloading, And the time I did try it I found that I cant stand it, the weapon your using always moving to the center of the screen to reload so I cant see the part of the right side of screen when I'm aiming , I just find it annoying.

Well, i don't use it because i like to hit R repeatedly. No, i just don't like a game reloading for me. I do it when its the right time, not when i'm SUPPOSED to. Some games use the concept of when you reload, you lose all the bullets with the clip, losing ones you didn't use. Maybes thats why i don't use it....

I think i should note that my personal problem is NOT with the motion of the weapon. Firs of all you can turn off view model, but me personally, i don't even notice the weapon.

i didn't even know it was put in but i doubt i would enjoy it considering im a reloader anyway and it seems like it would mess the fire rate up depending on what you are doing

I personaly have not used it sence scout update(force of nature loses the 1 bullet you dont use).

I seem to have it on but I still have the habit of pressing "R" even when I'm sniping >.<.

I don't know even know where this habit came from lol probably cs >.> but w/e that's a different story while in tf2 you can interrupt your reload ;s.

Supertrooper - maybe it's a psychological thing where you "feel" that you have the need to reload but the game is doing it for you so....when you don't follow a certain setup you just don't feel right ;s and you seem to be off rhythm on how you usually play ;s

I have tried it and hated it, maybe its cuz im not used to it. For me, it really seems to mess my aim up cuz of the reload animation maybe either way Im so used to always and I mean always reloading that I never really understood why anyone would need to use it.

I don't use auto-reload. I didn't even know there WAS an auto-reload until a few days ago. I've never actually used it at all, seeing as how Im comfortable how I play right now.

If you're playing comp, auto-reload is a must.

I actually have to disagree, cause it's thru comp that i found out i don't like it. Again, it could be my imagination, but i don't like having something that messes with my aim. I can always switch the the shotty when im at the end of a clip, but if i have rockets, I need them to go where my cross hairs are pointed.

I dont use the auto-reload feature...I dont really see a need for it, not that hard to hit the r key =P

I use it because there's no downside to it. All reloads are interruptible, so for me, there is no reason to not use it.
