Many people do not put enough thought into mice these days for both customers and producers. Thinking that the only factors that matter are accelerated movement or higher dpi values or more "pushy-pushy" like the Razor Naga, the gaming mouse market has become STALE to my tastes.

Most gaming mouses have these in mind:
comfort, usability, aesthetics (not as much)

The R.A.T. 7

This Oversized Cybernetic Rodent from Gaming Heaven... or the R.A.T. 7, should not be compared to your pencil pushing, office-cubicle, basic desktop mouse.

In fact, do not even consider using this mouse for anything else except gaming or else you will expect this mouse, which is most likely a Decepticon in disguise, to shank you when you are photoshopping.

Other than the awesome looks for a Mecha Fanboy like myself, the R.A.T. 7 features the general things expected for a mouse.
For one point, the R.A.T. 7 includes 7 programmable buttons which include the standard left/right/scroll "wheel/buttons".

Customization

But to hell with that, this R.A.T. 7 is probably the closest thing you can closer to a customizable M4-A1 Rifle for a mouse.
The R.A.T. 7 includes 3 interchangable PINKY rests and PALM rests. Each interchangable part provides a different experience depending on you "claw" your mouse or "squish" it down with your palm.
But for more hand comfort, the "screw" adjustment tool can be used to change the length where the thumb rest is located and also the WIDTH for wider, or smaller hands.
To include with the customization, the mouse also sports a changable weight system, where you can remove/add washers of 30 grams until you are satisfied with the weight.

"But wait, theres more"
The R.A.T. 7 also includes a very high 'twin eye' laser sensor that gives a nice and high 5600 DPI value. On the mouse, there is also buttons in which you can toggle through preset customizable DPI Sets that you can change on the fly.

But heres a golden ball toss to those sniper freaks in Edgegamers:

A Precision Aim Mode button that immediately changes any DPI that your currently using to a preset "slow" mouse sensitivity for that much needed delicacy to make those heads sing with a clear shot.

Well now that I've seen more pics instead of that butt ugly thing you showed me long ago, I kind of want one, too.
