$3.40 sata II cable

$416.23 TOTAL

Im looking to play all valve games at High-Very High, Call Of Duty at Medium-High, and Unreal 3 at Medium-High. All with a minimum of 60 fps.

PS

I know with these parts I wouldn't need a full tower, but I want room to expand.

For what you're asking, no not really.
Is using Newegg okay?
What is your budget?

personally I would not waste 400 dollars on parts that outdated. Save up enough money until you can spend up around 1000 dollars. That way your computer will last you more than a year.

Okay.
What all do you need?
And what do you plan on upgrading to?

I plan on upgrading the video card to the Nvidia 200 series cards later, a quad core processor, but for know a decent modern card and processor combo that will get done what I want done will do.

I'm building pretty much from scratch. So I'll need all necessary parts of a computer with an Ethernet port, a display (preferably 20" or larger), a Terabyte harddrive, and a mouse/keyboard (I don't need a gaming board, just a keyboard)

I may be able to go to $450.

So let me get this straight, you want a nice upgradeable PC WITH A MONITOR for $400?
Just going to go with some estimates here,
20" Monitor ~ $140
1TB HDD ~$70
Motherboard ~$70
CPU ~$60
RAM ~$100
GPU ~$60
PSU ~$60-70
Case ~$40
Keyboard and mouse ~$20-30.

I'm not even going to add that up because I know it'll be over budget.
Try having either a more realistic budget for your wants, or have some lee-way on your wants.

I would wait, like how Phobus stated.
Save up, you want at least $700 because with the economy. Custom built computers under $500 are a waste of time compared to a $500 prebuilt.

Why do you need the extra Sata cables? The motherboard should come with a few. And that video card is pretty overpriced.

Still, without the monitor the prices I put up are over budget, and I was being generous, too.
