Why have we made changes to Jail

There were many reasons to why we made the change to the jail server, and split it up into two servers. The major reason was because it was what the majority of people wanted:

Nearly 4 weeks ago Mostly Harmless created a poll to see the communities idea on the proposed change. 57.40% voted for the change where as 42.60% voted against it. After reading through all eleven pages of replies, we felt it was best to give the split a try and see how it turned out.

My goal as a division leader is to ensure that the players in the division have a good time playing in the servers. Although I may not be able to accommodate everyone, 97 people voted for the jail change and wanted to give it a try.

After a few weeks, as we do with every server, we will analyze how the servers are preforming. If we feel that the change is our best option, we will leave it. If we think that the old way was better, we will change it back.

The changes have only been up for 24 hours. Give them a shot. You might change your mind.​

Ive been saying the same thing to everyone, if you dont like it now, play it more, adjust to the change and you might just like it a lot more than you liked the old jail.

Like Legend said, if it doesnt succeed, then it will be changed back but we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out in the next few weeks.

Was hoping someone would say this. Good thread is good. Hopefully the people who voted against it get to play on the servers more and begin to like them.

Or the people who voted for it realize that it was a bad idea. Haha I kid, but the point made is good. Reactions to change, positive or negative, can't be accurately assessed only a couple days afterward. Give it a few weeks and I think we will have a bigger majority of people with corresponding opinions, rather than individuals all making different faces at it.

Well. I love this new format. I would be very sad to see it go. Of course, there will be those for and against it. But there have been much fewer jail crashes, which is just better for everybody.

I like the split, it seems more fair for both teams. Easier for T's to rebel and well, CT's have guns lol.

It's kind of hard when there's 10 people in there server, no one's giving orders, and it's freedays the whole time.

The change of 2 server is awful, They are constantly empty and boring and quiet and there is nothing going on. I dont see what you find amusing in that.
