Tf2 Error

So over the past couple days I've been craving some Tf2. I open it, BOOM
Code:
Failed to load the launcher DLL:
The specified module could not be found.

I searched it on google, and It seems it only appears to happen to people trying to run a server, I'm not trying to run a server. So, I go and delete the game, reinstall, and I try again, same thing. Right now I'm Validating the files, just in case. Anyone help me on this? Have this happen to you before?

EDIT: After Validation it still decides it's not gonna work. UGH.

Ok this may seem weird but I had the same problem and what I did was rename the tf2 folder in steam/steamapps/username/(tf2 folder name) and then verified the game cache and it worked

That worked. Thanks.

Try that?

Same thing happened to me before, I ended up deleting several files under a certain filetype. Then I had to validate the files. When I remember I'll tell you :P

Well you see, I decided to rage and turn my computer off aggressively, I turned it back on and it worked. I hate my computer.

I made both of these about a week ago, lol

Didn't see that lol

If it ever happens again, which it has to me, I'd advise deleting team fortress 2.gcf and then uninstalling TF2. That way you get a clean install when you reinstall.
