Well, you were trying them on the Assault server, assault doesnt have FBG on it at all.

If you go to one of our servers with FBG(Dust,office,highschool) You will see that FBG is still enabled.

Why is it being removed from eGO servers? Is it just financial reasons?

FBG itself is shutting down due to financial problems. SO FBG will be gone from all servers, not just eGO Servers. Im not exactly sure how long till they are shutdown, but its very soon, probably a week or two if you ask me.
