For those of you who do not visit the homepage / news forum you may not know that JohnT is retiring from his active role in order to devote more time to his family and real life occupation. It may be just a sabbatical but regardless he has a new position; Founder.

eGO was founded on July 1st, 2006 by JohnT and Artimus with just a website and a single Day of Defeat Source Avalanche server.

Without JohnT's vision and countless hours of effort we would not have Edge Gamers. We would be hard pressed to find a place to play where disrespect is actively discouraged.

Please post a word of gratitude. Let's let him know how we feel about what he has wrought.
