Blackmesa! tf2 map

for some reason i cannot the map blackmesa. it says it cannot connect to the crc or something like that. i really wish to play on that map again because it is the map that got me into gaming with edge gamers and also the map that i met my friends in edge gamers whom are the generous people who have kept me in this gaming group. if anyone has the answer to my problem please tell me. if not, if anyone has steam's support email i could ask them. this all started when i down loaded the game on mac. and i deleted my pc bootcamp. thanks again, your friend papa cheese

I'm sorry, I can not understand this post.

Do you want the black mesa map from TF2?
I'm not sure how maps work on Macintosh, I don't even know how TF2 works on it.

And place it wherever maps are in Macintosh. If someone could let me know where Macs place maps, please do.

no i down loaded the map already but when ever i go onto a custom map it tells me i couldnt connect to the crc

Yes. The CRC is a compatibility check that makes sure the file is the same as the server's copy. From what he's saying, I think he's getting a

Bad CRC

error. He should be able to delete the map from Documents/Steam Content (I forget the exact path, but from there just search cp_blackmesa in Spotlight). Afterwards he could redownload the map either from FPSBanana or the server, either would work. Bad CRC errors happen when your connection is interrupted and the download fails part of the way through.

well i cant re dl the map cause the same problem pops up. i havent tried fps banana, because i put that in and before i could play i was downloading css, then my hl2 osx kept being unrespnsive. so.
