Yes, grass will look like dead dogs, walls will look like water, and water will look like sewage, but if you want to get all that FPS out of your old computer, then you'll accept it.

Hey guys, a tip from the TF2 side of things to increase FPS. This only works if you have a firewall or antivirus running, and I'm assuming it'll work for CS:S because it was upped to the OB engine.

Gave me about 10 more FPS in TF2

Well when people have to choose between playing a game that looks like crap or watching a slide show of CSS with normal settings, I doubt they will choose the latter
