Yes, because if a prop (such as a cart/table) flies at your head and smashes into it at 30mph, it shouldn't do any damage.

LOL this is still really funny even though this has happened to me before the update.
Yesterday on Amazonian the door appeared to be open for me and i couldnt get in. In vent im like "Christy why cant i get in this room" and then i hit the use button to open the door again. Gotta love the update and the funny thing it does to props and different brush tools

and you wonder why there are no doors like that in TF2 , well now you know! .

Actually though, I think they just have to update it to make it so that doors won't close if there is a person inside it like in L4D/HL2, then it should be good.
