Sending steam games

[mattM_-]

So I have been waiting for the time when L4D2 came on sell, and it finally did today! Soo I bought 4 copies

Anyhow, how can I send the copies to friends? I thought I saw some text about it when I was purchasing but I just reformatted my computer so I am installing and doing too many things at once to read. Any help?
