Today, on June 26th at 2:00pm PST, America lost the World Cup 1-2 against Ghana. It goes without saying that this is an incredible upset. :facewall:

USA was a nice, feel good story and they do have a lot of potential. But at this point in time, they don't stack up against the skill of other teams. Take the Ghana game for example, twice, a striker from USA went 1 on 1 with the goalie, but they tapped it lightly ground level towards the keeper. Experienced and more skilled players would lob it slightly upwards away from the keeper.

The US team had the chances to win that game and just did not capitalize. Richard Kingston had a great game at keeper. Ghana was the better team and they played like it.

lol, not have even made it? lol, but we did didnt we? even though the refs tried hard to keep us out. and we did beat spain 3-0, went up 2-0 against brazil in the confederations cup last summer, sure we lost, had our chances but ummm.... mexico just got booted out of the cup at the same stage as the USA too right? yeah thats what i thought. guess the haters gonna hate instead of saying gg mate

So the best thing to do is start a flame war in a forum hosted in the United States. If your going to criticize someones country do it respectfully, doing otherwise just gets you yelled at (or worse when talking to someone face to face)
