Headset reverb

For some odd reason my headset has a habit of reverbing. Everytime I open my mic up when people are talking, they can hear themselves. I cant figure out why its doing this. If anyone know how i can fix this, please comment or pm on vent when im on >in vent name JPurvis or (..::JPurvis::..). Thanks

I can only think of a few things of why. If you're using a headset and all the sound is playing through your earcups your microphone is on the sensitive side. If you're using a microphone and playing your sound through speakers your microphone is just picking up the sound from your speakers. Be sure to set up your vent up right if you haven't already. That's all I could think of. Maybe try turning down the volume?

It's called feedback, if you have Realtek HD installed, go to your control panel > Sound Manager HD > Then go to the mix tab, once you're there click on the arrow pointing to the right in the recording section, and you'll see something that says stereo mixer if it's unchecked, left click on it and all your feedback issues should be now fixed, it will fix the feedback but if you want to record a video, it will not record the audio, if you want audio on your videos back, just uncheck it again, it happens to me often so i'm still figuring out how to record my videos whit audio without messing up the voice chat whit my feedback .
