Mysterious Menu/In-Game lag

Recently I have had a problem with Counter Strike: Source, that being a lag issue. Although its not the normal lag you'd think, it seems that my game has menu lag and as well in-game lag of a maximum of 5 FPS (According to net_graph 1)

This started this morning and have already contacted Valve about it in their help sections. But now it seems that Team Fortress 2 is now having the same problem, abnormal menu/in-game lag. Could it be some sort of Malware? I did a few different scans, with AVG, Defender, and Security Essentials, nothing came up.

Any help on this one?

EDIT: Another possibility is it could be my drivers bugging out or something along the lines, yes they are up to date. Sorry but I really don't know what's the problem, I'm not a computer tech type of person so my apologizes if I'm jumping all over the place.

I fixed the problem I had with my games, so everything is now back to normal.

Yeah, what was wrong?

What was wrong, was when I launched the game it lagged so badly it was unplayable, although I thought I fixed it when I uninstalled it. Ill Legend told me to join servers from the servers TAB when you first start steam.

And that works, and my games are now playable.
