So I've got an HP DVD Writer 1070r, and the dang thing is giving me nothing but problems.
I can burn a CD, read CD's and DVD's, but the instant I try to burn a DVD, it goes to about 50% then errors out.
I have tried four different programs on Windows and Ubuntu, all with the same end result.
Does anyone know of similar issues with this type of drive, or perhaps a link to the latest driver?
I'd rather not have to shell out for a new drive, since I'm still saving for a new HD so I can install Windows 7.
