??? I need help

That could be hard with only a WalMart.
Do you have a Best Buy near you?

Youtube ftw bro :D There are videos step by step on how to put together a computer. Just be flexible with the parts you have and you're good to go!

NEVER BUY FROM BESTBUY. They over price there crap like CRAZY!

Not really :) I got a great deal on what I'm using now (Just needs a video upgrade.) I'm sure my machine is worth $800 to build, and I got it for $450.93 including tax and a 1-year warranty (that allows me to upgrade video/sound/network cards).

Anyway.
Back to what this topic is meant to be about.

This is $900 and it exceeds your requirements by a long shot, murph500.

Two things. I'd have to see this supposed $800 build, and do not buy that computer, that processor is not for gaming, and its an extremely overpriced dual core.

EMachines PC LOL is all I have to say.

eMachines are Gateways and gateway builds amazing computers. They're built to last. I had a refurbished eMachine for 2 years until I got a refurbished Gateway for 3 years until I built my own computer. They both served me incredibly well.

if i did i wouldn't know what to get and i'm 14 i could bairly have the patience for a Lego set let alone a custom PC. I would buy the wrong parts and accidentally break them. i just want a decent rig under 1 k not the perfect rig. oh and Phobus did you get my message. and how long would it take to make if i had all the parts

If you do decide on building one yourself, I would pick out all the parts for you, and I guarantee them to work flawlessly, and I will send you a guide that tells you how step-by-step. Like I said, you wouldn't pick the wrong parts, or accidentally break them (they're more durable than one might think). And a rig for under 1k is actually pretty good. Yes, I got your message. Once you get all of the parts, which would take 3-5 days, you'd just have to assemble them, which would probably take about an hour and a half to two hours. After that, you'd need another 30-45 minutes for installing the OS.

i could try to buy a little bit off the web but it has to be under 100 individually because my mom will buy me 100 dollar pre paid cards from master card and would it be possible to just give mine an upgrade or like supe it up

Not for <$100.
I'll post a link for an upgradeable Best Buy computer, and you could also buy a new graphics card and powersupply there.

and is there a way to get my pc specs from my pc all i know is that its windows vista home premium with an amd 64 athalon x2

Oh I thought I already replied? I tried to on my phone, but this site hates Opera Mini :glare:
My computer cost about $900, but I wouldn't recommend any of the parts except the graphics card, the cooler, and the case.

why would you only recommend those and 1 last question dose yours run apb or could it

Because I didn't know nearly as much as I do now, so these parts are not only out dated (I bought them last September, and they were dated then, too) but they are not so good.
Yes, mine could run APB. I sadly did not get into the beta, though. :(

It's not really that hard to build a computer. It's like a big lego. A big... expensive lego o.o
