Neo Tokyo

[v1ruz]

Hi . Does anyone else play Neo Tokyo? I've been playing it recently, tons of fun, feel free to recomend any servers you play on and maybe add me so we can play together .

We used to have a division, then we realized the game is too close to Counter Strike with lower frames per second, and got rid of the division. So I don't think many people play it anymore.

[ScrappyDoo]

Um. Slight correction: It was never a division. We were actively exploring whether it could or should be a division.

We stopped hosting servers when people stopped playing it....

That's throwing the bias around a little, don'tya think?

I really enjoyed Neotokyo, despite its flaws. I don't think it was "just Counterstrike," it offered a handful of things to keep itself interesting.

I kinda stopped playing when our servers sat at empty and were eventually taken down. I've heard it wasn't an active mod anymore (e.g. less than 10 servers or so), but I haven't checked.

Enjoyed that game a lot. There just weren't enough people playing, and it seemed to be the same people all the time. Just got stale for me. I'd be interested in playing again if I knew it was populated. I even still have it installed.

Sad to see such a good mod die! Oh well, thanks for letting me on in the info guys .

[Carmine]

It died because it was boring!

Bahahaha!

Er I mean yeah, sad to see it go for those who liked playing it.

Had some great times with eGO in that game, but people just lost interest...

Go Team Chupacabra!

Go Team Chupacabra!

I'm still in the user group, last I checked.

Go Team Chupacabra!

Those were definitely good times.

Can't believe it died off so quickly, I am very glad that I got to ride that initial wave of players right when the mod was released.

Great times and great teamwork.

Same here.

I miss the NT 'division'.

We had so much fun...

Never quite understood why this awesome mod never made it to steam.
