The MX518 is a great mouse.

I use the Logitech G5, best mouse I've ever owned.

For an older mouse I like the Intellimouse 3.0. Theres a new Legends edition that you can get at a local bestbuy I think for about $25-$30. Its a good mouse. Mine broke but it was my fault. Mice don't usually last too long when you slam them on your desk.

I like my new g9x though. Good mouse with good ergonomics. Expensive though at $100.

I'd prefer my Sidewinder.

~Music, signing-off.

Logitech MX518, I've had this mouse for 5 years and all I cAn sat is that it's amazing. Plus, lifetime warranty!

Logitech G9 or G9x

Profiles, grips, weights and DPI on the fly switching, what more could you need :)

There's a guy on here, Chester or something, who can tell you all about how the G9/G9x live up to wear and tear of daily usage, and let me tell you, it's not good.
I would not recommend that mouse.

I've had the deathadder by Razer for about 6 years. I LOVE it! I won't use a Razer keyboard again, nothing but disaster there with the Lycosa, but their mice are fantastic.

It isn't? I've been using my G9 daily since it's release date, and it's still working just as good as it did on day 1.

I highly recommend it. I also agree with the others about the mx518. It was the mouse I had before the G9, and still works wonderfully. I have lent it to a friend who absolutely adores it now and still uses it daily.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I think im going with the Sidewinder X5 it got good reviews on newegg and i was able to find a place that sold it for about $25

Maybe he just got a few bad ones, or you just got a good one.

Love my G5 and my bro has a 518, both are great just the 518 does not have the weights. Wanted a G9 , found them cheap and are great mice but i have heard of the rubber grip peeling on both the G9 and G9x.
