What instrument do you play?

i play classic guitarr, guitarr, bass, drums, piano and triangle :P
 
I'm playing drums in a folk/rock band right now. I played guitar for 4 years in high school, but never advanced as much as I'd have liked so I gave it up. I started playing drums a year ago. It's been coming pretty naturally to me.

Nice my man. Been thinking of diving into bass. Only problem is i dont even have enough money to buy a new guitar much less a bass so i gotta wait a while for new equipment lol.
 
I have been a percussionist for the last 15 years, playing piano for seven years and then a wide range for the past 8 years including timpani, bells, chimes, etc.

I also play both rock and jazz on the drum set.

I use to play percussion in band for 3 or 4 years but I haven't played in about 2 years:/

And i'm talking from experience here...make sure you get a bass amp. I blew up an old guitar amp by using the bass guitar in it. Also, it just doesn't sound right through a guitar amp.

Jazz drums! Man, I wish I were nearly good enough. I'm gonna start taking formal lessons this spring I believe, so maybe I'll learn some of the basic beats.
 
^ that's an instrument that I would love to learn to play, but I doubt I would progress far. My girlfriend plays a little bit of everything and showed me a song on the piano. It took forever to learn it.

Piano is fun if you sit down and take your time to learn every note by ear. Or just improv on what sounds good.
 
I'm a percussionist, not just a drummer ^_^. My dad is a professional musician so I've learned the basics of a lot of instruments: trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, flute.
 
Clarinet. Only did so to fulfill my high school graduation requirements.

On the last day of band practice, it broke. I took it as an omen that I am never, ever, gonna play an instrument again.
