Well it's not like they can fit the whole series into a 2 hour movie.

But..I was sure the characters were asian.....

Its just the first season, but I know what your saying. All of the secondary characters were Asian, not any of the main characters other than Zuko.

Its true though. Get some kids with an HD camera, a few fans, some rocks, and buckets of water, then stick to the actual story, and I'd watch it.
