When your playing a game ok. You shoot the enemys face 6-10 times they kill you and they have full health. I mean come on Thats gotta do something. I mean come on the hit box is worse than CSS where your bullets fly everywhere when your aimed right on them. You know what else really grinds my gears. When Your knife doesnt register and it still makes the noise and the enemy shoots you to bits and pieces. I remember when if you tried to knife someone they would fight you with a melee out not with their tail between their legs and shooting you with a gun.

Well blame Hitboxes. there all screwed up lol.

we all know how you feel but its the game. gotta be lucky. :)
 
The frustration when playing can get you down if you let it. Now take me I am an expert very highly skilled player hmm. hmm, lol I never get frustrated I keep battleing on until the opposistion give in out of shear fright. And my team wins and kicks butt in the bonus round, we hold a party to celebrate then it starts all over again. Keep up the good work guys tenacity pay's off all the time,HA HA.
 
I enjoy trying to play with a ping of 280. Thats when the hit registration gets really fun.

Thats when you bring out the light and start headshotting everyone while being unhittable



As to the original topic, I turn off blood on the models, and just shoot till they're dead.

If anything else, the game is a lie.
 
Have you tried kindness? I hear that some people kill with that.
 
Dude, just do what noxx does, play for 3 days straight without stopping and crash for a day.

I don't know how that will help the hitboxes, but you'll be too tired to care!
 
CoD has a sticky where is shows you commands to get better fps/reg stuff , we should have one for DoD:S too.

For one, knowing about lerp is important (sorry, I don't know if you know what it is or not) You want the lowest lerp possible to get the best reg, I get mine to like 16.9 in our servers (0.0 in some other ones i play in, our servers must not allow lerp that low i guess :()

You can still rifle with that lerp? I can't hit people when I do my rifle strafe when I have my lerp to anything lower than 0.1 (100 m/s). But when I do have it at 0.1, I can hit kids before I even stop in the strafe, which is, in my opinion, the only reason why players on the server are any good with the rifles. Because they can hit people while on the move without any strafe, why bother to actually strafe or change your rates?

One of the eGO members one day had suggested to me to run cl_cmdrate 66 and updaterate to 66, I guess because the server was a 66 tick, but I'm not sure if this works.

I run:
cl_updaterate 100
cl_interp 0.1 (only on eGO, in other pubs I run either 0.033 or 0.000)
cl_cmdrate 100
rate 25000 (although sometimes its 30000 or 20000)

the best rates for the eGO servers are

cl_updaterate 67
cl_cmdrate 67
rate 20000

our servers are 66 tick, and I believe the rate is capped at 20000

YES! very frustrating! ALSO i HATE when i shoot and a sniper shoots at the exact same time and the blood from the shot i just took gets on his uniform, but because he fired just barely before, i die and he gets off scratch free. Complete nonsense but i guess the game engine doesnt accept the idea of 2 people shooting themselves at the same time.
 
I have a simple solution, pick up a machine gun. Hit reg doesn't really matter when your firing 250 bullets in 30 seconds one way or the other that person is dead.
