A dollar for each game, or free games, would be the DUMBEST thing ever. Steam would be done. The servers would be SO backed up, you wouldn't be able to log on. It would crash every couple of seconds. Who comes up with this? ^
you gotta realize, these are lil kids & will think up the silliest things just to get their way. you are right when it comes to the server issues & w/ valve. it wouldnt be steam that would be done for, it would be valve. gotta remember that steam is just a brain child of valve.

It was a joke, but apparently you guys didn't catch that. Obviously steam servers would be clogged like hell, there really isn't anything I could think of else I could want from Valve at this point.

And I don't know about the sale, the guys at Steam know much better than I do.
I don't think SoldierX77 understands what a joke is.... Or if he does its only the ones he tells.
One thing to remember, while steam is bases in the U.S.A., it also supplies games all over the world. So July 4th may just be another day to them. So the sales may be nothing special; or they could be July 4th crazy and do something ridicules. All we can do is wait and see.
