You are correct, a double post isnt going to kill me. Neither will someone calling me a name, but I dont like that either. What I find strange is that this clan insta locks a thread if someone legitimately adds to a topic that is more than two weeks old and is told nto to bring alive dead threads but double posts are looked past. It just seems backwards to me.
For about the third time this week, I am not a member of this clan. But I am however, a member of this clans community and I didnt mean to come off as snobby, but It really bugs me when people double post. and actually i dont mind double posts that much, what I dont liek is double threads. (incase anyone was confeused).
I volunteer my time to this community and I dont liek to support behavior i disagree with. Now, I was going to make you wait but since you had to suffer through my lecture, i guess thats boring.. i mean punishment enough.
Now, You need to help us help you. You mentioned somehting about it only being a problem when also using xfire or somethign (in one of your two posts) can you be more clear about this or did I miss read you?
Also, you said you have talk bound to your 'F' key, when you press your F key do you see the speaker icon on the screen that tells others you are talking? If you do not, then the problem lies with either the bind, or with some other program overriding your steam settings.
If you do see the icon in game but the problem is that you actually cannot get your voice to carry through to teammates then the next question is does the mic work in windows? If no then we have to get it working there first. If yes, do you pass the steam mic test?
If you could please answer these questions and be as detailed as possible then you can have a fix in a jiffy. or at worst a bisquick.
