Upgrading To Alienware Area-51 7500 Soon!!!

-------------------
AMD Athalon 64 4000
Asus A8N SLI Premium MOBO
2GB OCZ Platinum
2x EVGA 7800GTX
Silverstone 550w PSU
Apple Cinema HD Display 30" flat panel

bah I say to both of you and everyone else who uses eVGA graphics cards. They are the wallmart of card brands. ::sigh:: I miss xtasy, they made great geforce 4's. ::double sigh:: and gainward went out of business, seems like the good gamming brands never make it because they lose all their profit from not cutting corners.

I dont have an evga graphics card. XFX dude. the 650i's and 680i's are some of the better mombo's out on the market right now.

I agree eVGA blow. And AlienWares are about the biggest waste of money I can think of, build your own computer man, way cheaper and much nicer

They get the job done.

I have my own custom built pc right now. Just getting alienware cause they look pretty and glossy. Just something I have to do in life. Sorry to all you alienware haters!

Sorry m3dly - your right, i saw the evga and stoped reading. My bad, thats your motherboard. I would definately take an xfx card over evga.

I own two AW systems myself. 8)

I think i have the worst computer in the whole clan. But im planning to build a new one soon.

AMD Sempron(tm), ~2.0GHz
512MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000

Right now I'm running an AMD 64 3000+ overclocked to 2.2G, have 2gig of GSkill RAM, an Asrock ULI chipset motherboard, an ATI 1800XT video card, and I have 2 120G Western Digital SATA drives in RAID0 along with a Pioneer DVD burner.

I plan to upgrade soon to a rack mount case and an AMD 5000+ Black Edition cpu, I haven't nailed down what else I'm gonna run in the new system yet though.

I've had no complaints with my evga dual 7800gtx graphics cards. They have been working great for me. Maybe evga just isn't compatible with green monkies :)

I'm still in beta and have compatibility issues with most people too.

I need beta testers - wanna be my beta friend?

Upgrading to Alienware? I think that's more like downgrading... Alienware has the WORST customer service that I have ever dealt with. I will definitely suggest building your own computer over Alienware, because the same components alone will probably be $500 less. But here's my computer:

Processor: Dual Core Duo @ 2.2 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTX
RAM: 2 GB Corsair (on 1 stick... i will be upping this soon)
MOBO: ASUS A8N SLI Premium
Mouse: Logitech MX 400
Display: 20" Flat Panel

It does it's job.

Alienware isn't bad if you are the sort of person who is afraid to build their own pc or just do not want to spend the time on it. Of course you do pay a heavy premium for it (as said about $500 more than you would if you built it yourself).
