Well the latest release (I lol'd @ this) was in 2006 so yeah I'm updated with the latest.

Maybe My PC will get a spot on the show "Unsolvable Mysteries"!

What are your computer specs? What OS?

I would download a ubuntu install CD, boot onto the CD, and go into memtest and start running the memtest over night for errors.

That error is not specific to any program, rather a general error message:

Like the message indicates, your PC tried to read or write a certain memory address and failed. It usually means a faulty or unstable RAM or bad sectors in your HDD. It is advised to run "Windows Checkdisk". Start > Run > "CMD.exe" > chkdsk /f

I haven't looked at the above links, but if not already mentioned, try the following:
1) Remove RAM slots one by one to see if the message goes away. If you only have 1 chip, test with another RAM.
2) Run chkdsk /f in CMD, it'll give you an error message: Unable to mount, partition is active. Would you like to restart and scan? Select Y.
3) Do multiple stress tests on your PC. If it fails at RAM, then you've figured out your problem. If it fails at HDD, then you've figured out your problem. If it fails at nothing, then deeper we shall investigate.

Alright after running chkdsk and stress tests... both my RAM and HDD checked out and seemed fine. Switched the ram slots and removed some, same problem.

Ahah! It also just happened with the Game Half Life 2, only game it seems not to do this with is Insurgency ._.

Download this, install it. Don't install screensaver, look at options during installer. Click on "Benchmark", allow it to run. Take a screenshot of the results and post here.
