Well when i bought the Orange box i think it came with HL2, but i already own it.

was wondering if any one out there doesnt have the HL2 game in there steam games folder, that might be interested in it.

show your interests in this forum. Or if you know of some one, so on and so forth.

i've never played it but from the videos i seen it looks cool and would like to try. i just haven't been able to buy it. so this would be nice.

Do I sense a showdown?! Magnum vs. Ryu: BATTLE ROYALE!
[/quote1198511156]

Magnum looks at Ryu. Ryu proceeds to take out a rocket launcher and blow himself away, saving me the time it would take to shovel him. Winner is Magnum X!

I would be interested. But i do not "need" it. I never played HL2 so would be pretty fun, heard the games a blast.

I can Gift Half Life 2 AND Episode one to someone, PM me if you want it, first come first server fellas!

wasnt HL2 needed to play DoD source?

You just need the source game engine on your PC. If you check in your steamapps folder they are reprensented by several huge GCF files (about 500 mb-1 gig in size each).

Have you ever noticed when you have HL2 on your PC and you are going to download DoDS.....its only about a 1 gig download, but when you don't have HL2, it its about a 5 gig download? Thats the reason, cause you don't have the basic source engine files installed. i hope that edumacated you somewhat in how teh source games work. ;)
