It has the best people and its probably the best custom map I've played.

However, it'd be nice if we just had regular servers that didn't have instant/fastrespawn

So I decided to go where most of the better ranks play at, Blackmesa.
You have just slapped my knee.

I said better ranks, not better players . Imo, mesa is easy to set people up and get easy kills no matter how high your rank.

So you base where you play on how high of an arbitrary number on a stat tracking site is? That makes me sad :crying:

I actually still frequent other servers, but like I said I join mesa to get better rank .

I wanted to say Egypt because it's not a campfest, there's actual movement across the map. But I decided to go with Valve Maps because there are too many really good maps that just don't do well for 24/7. It's nice actually being able to play a game of tf2 that doesn't consist of a whole ton of camping.

I hate going through all the trouble to kill somebody knowing that they're right back out there killing me again

And I'll agree that Turbine can become Turtlespam in mid... but if you're failing to hold Mid at a stalemate, then you don't deserve to win.

Although I haven't seen what awesome Engies with the new upgrades have done to Mid... that could be a gamechanger. I know hupping my sentry from Intel to the crooked hallway fills me with a warm glow.
