have to pay to player mw2???

Sorry for the double post.

but why would you even consider paying cause what they would be doing is blocking your access than asking you to pay to be able to connect again when it's not even there servers.

come on this would be like my router company charging me every-time i try to send a file to my other computer over my network. or like having to pay microsoft to connect to google because im using windows.

the oly time i would see it as understandable is if games were running from dedicated servers of activisions and they needed the money to keep them maintained.

Because I still like the CoD series. And how would they be blocking my access, I'm paying per month to get access. And I'm fine with that, I play CoD on my Xbox.

my point is your paying them to get access to something that isn't there's that they took away.

your not paying to use there servers you are paying essential a 3rd party to connect p2p too other users that had to do the same thing.

If it happens it happens. If you don't like then don't buy it. Activision is a business and at in the end of the they care about making money just like any other business. I still find it funny people were all over IW and Activision when MW1 considering the best game ever, but did a complete 180 and started to hate them after MW2. Funny how MW2 is one of the most played games on the PSN, XBL, and PC.

Simply because there are a load of teens and children that have too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do than play games. And like every teen and child they jump on the MW2 bandwagon and say its the best when it really isnt that good at all.

Actually, I'd say CS is the most played. 1.6 and Source have almost 120k people playing RIGHT NOW. MW2 has about half of that.

While avoiding providing input, what kind of freaking... wha.... is he really that stupid to say that...

Last month, Activision chief executive Bobby Kotick said that if he could have one wish, he would make Call Of Duty "an online subscription service tomorrow".

And thus Halo will take over and become Call of Halo: Future Warfare 7.

This is just pathetic. Activision and IW make enough money as it is, now they want to take more money from their customers that have already bought the game to play online? What complete nonsense.

First no dedicated servers, and now paying to play online, seems like they really hate their fanbase!

It's all Bobby Kotick man. The man who hates video games yet decided to be the CEO of a video game company.

That's like a man opening a pizza restaurant when he hates Italians.

CoD I never played, CoD 2 was fun when I had the chance, never played CoD 3, played CoD 4 for awhile, it was fun, played WaW the most, I like it the best, MW2 was kind of disappointing.
No way I'd pay just to play a new CoD. I'd just go back to WaW, or play a Battlefield game.

Activision Blizzard boss Bobby Kotick has made clear his desire to capitalize on the online successes of the first-person shooter.

Doesnt mean that they wont do it anyways. Those two games were already in production before Bobby Kotick came into play. Now that he is, it wouldnt surprise me if the next one after Black Ops is Pay 2 Play.
