I need help with a CS problem.

I recently tried to log onto a server, and it said this...:

You have been disconnected from the server.
Reason:Bade file Server enforcing file consistency for models/shield/p_shield_p228.mdl

So I tried to log onto another server thinking it was probably only that one, but it said the same thing with the second one.

I think I have the answer, though I'm not certain. I started downloading skins for Counter Strike: Source, and while downloading I think i opened the wrong file. In this case, I opened the Counter-Strike >> CStrike file, instead of Counter-Strike: Source >> CStrike file. So if I'm right, I need someone to give me a copy of their models/shield/p_shield_p228.mdl file.

I think also that you just need the correct file - worste case you could delete local content and redownload.

if you recently made/downloaded a skin remove it. usually people get that error when a skin was saved incorrectly.
