Found CS:S eGO servers on my own one random day. Then talked to Crimson for a while and was recruited after learning about the scrim team. 2 years later now... still pwning the CS:S servers ;)
 
It was kinda both for me to be honest. I Saw alot of =(eGO)= Servers all over. So then i just found out a friend I've known for about almost 4 years now was in eGO. So i asked him are you in that clan that has servers all over that has eGO in it. So he said yes, and so i asked him information about how ego is ran and stuff, and if it's wroth it. So then i said i wanna join. i put in an application, and now i'm playing on the BC2 Servers every night, and it's gonna be 1 month here in eGO in 3 days :P. I Said to myself i should of joined this clan community along time ago :P
 
Acctualy i knew about ego about a full year before i joined because i used to play in a CS:S zombie mod and all the eGO members that joined (mostly =(e)='s the other server regulars had dubbed them E-fags) acted like total douches so i hated all eGO member from then on. Then i started playing insurgency, and the eGO servers where everyone said was the best gameplay so i gave it a shot and the eGO members i meet there were different from the CS:S one i meet in the old Zombie mod server, and i thought i would join.
 
Fluxion asked me to play Jail with him one day and then told me I should join eGO as well!
 
Found the eGO serves through surfing around BC2, I remembered the name from CoDMW2 and after playing regularly for a few weeks I was asked by Altec to join up. I obviously accepted.
