In June 2010, the BC2 leadership decided to spread the word of Edgegamers by tying copies of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the PC with an eGO sticker on the case to healthy dogs. The 200 dogs were prepped to be let out into various areas in the United States carrying these gifts. The team hoped to attract PC players with this publicity stunt.

The night before the hounds were released, they ran off into the night. That morning all of the dogs ran off without their assigned copies of BC2. The only evidence found were:

- 1 bottle of liquor
- An iPod filled with music
- A scattered pile of eGO stickers
