You need either FA or a house tag, homeless don't get promos.

Just slap it on. But at the top of the General forum there is a FA roster you must complete first. Id join a house they are all great !!!!

If I were a new player, I'd very much consider joining a house. In the pre-house days, council was swamped with "how do I" or "why" types of requests.
They could deal with that in the early days of the clan, but with the clan growing in leaps and bounds and exceeding their expectations, they decided to create Houses under a couple of House Leaders.
The benefits of this is that it both eases the load of council.... and the individual member gets questions answered, mentorship, support, etc., a lot faster.
It's kind of the reason why big corporations create branch offices. It makes things easier to run.
A person can be a regular without a FA.... there is no requirement to force a non-=(e)= player to put an FA.
If you have an =(e)= tag, then you must have an FA if you are not affiliated with a house. A good reason for an =(e)= to slap on an FA is that if a house leader likes your style (play in-game, maturity, attitude), he may ask you to join.
Promotions are generally only given to players associated with a house.....however council has reserved the right to promote any player (house or non-house) as they see fit if they feel the guy or gal has the right qualities.
