regular should be BF2's gameplay, hardcore should add even more realism, like wind, ect. - or a Project Reality-like mode
 
I don't hate consoles that much, but I do own a PS3 (don't play it much). As said earlier in this thread, I hope DICE is going to make two separate versions - the "real" Battlefield 3 for PC, and the watered down version for consoles.

An example is what DICE has done for BF2 for PC, and the more watered down version of BF2 for consoles, which is BF2:MC.

It's so fun to hate on consoles because there are very few games that aren't watered down for casual, AKA bad players. However, I could never bring myself to hate consoles because they have RDR.

I hope this is what happens. I find gigantic battles much more preferable to what is seen in BC2, and I don't think that can be well executed on the Xbox 360.
 
Interesting read about Dice's frostbite 2.0 engine. I can't believe they worked on it for 6 years.
Hopefully, this time they won't screw up the in-game voice chat and maybe take lessons from the TF2 developers on social gaming.
 
To be honest, I really hope that there isn't a "normal core" and "hard core" mode. I also hope that they DO NOT have health regeneration.
 
if you read the blog, they are making bf3 seperatly for ALL 3 SYSTESMS its coming out on, PC, XBOX, AND PS3 i highly doubt that though lol becuase i dont see a team working on 3 different versions of the same game.
