Hey Everyone,
I've noticed that a couple of people have been searching for MMORPG's to play for the remainder of the Summer. As bored as I was, I figured that I should throw a list together for you all, and give you some background of each of the games.
Every game listed below is free to play; however, I can not guarantee that every person will find interest in any one of the games listed. I am not associated with any of their companies, nor making any attempt to advertise for them. This thread is merely to help those in search, to find a game.

#1. Runes of Magic by Frogster
If you like World of Warcraft, but didn't want to pay the recurring fees every month, this is a game that I strongly recommend. Runes of Magic features a Dual Class System, which allows players to have both a primary, and a secondary class, to one character. With each combination of classes, players achieve Elite Skills which varies based on your choice of classes. In addition to that, Runes of Magic features: Instances, a Housing System, Player VS Player, and a unique system called Transmuting, which enables players to fully customize their character. The only downside to Runes of Magic, is that it is very Cash Shop oriented; whereas the players who buy 'Diamonds', (the real life currency of RoM) are generally more powerful than those who don't. This can be worked around, however; by buying items through the Auction House for Gold, or Achieving diamonds from events, held by the GameMasters.

#2. Silkroad Online by Joymax
Silkroad Online was one of the first MMORPG's that I ever played, however due to a lack of subdomains, I can not attach links directly to the website. SRO uses a combination of strategy, and skill to create a fun environment, and an overall great game. Unlike most MMORPG's, Silkroad was not heavily cash shop oriented. A player could simply play the game, without paying money; and still be the best. That is easily one of the reasons as to why I really respect Joymax. Like Runes of Magic, Silkroad features a well balanced Player VS Player system, between the Chinese and European races, which provides a WoW like environment between the Alliance and the Horde. There are only two downsides to Silkroad Online: there are no instances, and you are not guaranteed a slot to connect. Sometimes you spend hours attempting to connect to a Full Server. The one antidote to evade that, is paying $20 a month for a reserved slot, which many players resort to doing.

#3. Perfect World by Perfect World Entertainment
Perfect World is a game based on Chinese mythology, whereas the quests and storyline intertwine with that concept. Inside of Perfect World, you not only have the option to personally PvP with one player; you can have designated territory wars, whereas two groups fight each other until they have conquered the enemies lands. Also included in Perfect World, are Marriages, a vast selection of Instances, and a crafting system to keep players entertained. Although I have never personally played Perfect World, the reviews and wiki's make it sound like an interesting game.

#5. Last Chaos by Aeria Games
Last Chaos was an astonishing game; I played it for a few months, however I got caught up with school, and forgot all about it. The graphics for this game are mediocre, however the game-play makes up for this issue. There's a variety of bosses, and instances, pets, Guilding, and Parties. However, like most MMORPG's, there is a vast quantity of scammers, and the occasional hacker; who ruin the fun for everyone. This is one of the major problems with the games, because of a lack of training areas. Overall, this is a great game, and one that I would recommend, however it has been awhile since I played it; and it might have changed since then. If so, expect some changes.

#1. Maplestory by Nexon
I was addicted to this game for years, it is by far one of the best side-scrollers out there. Although there is no PVP System, they make up for it with Party Quests, or mini-instances that you can complete with certain amounts of party members. Nexon constantly updates the selection of characters, giving players a variety of classes to choose from; however it is very uncommon to find a GameMaster in-game, and they do not refund players if they get hacked. There are many different bosses, which help spice up the game a little; and many different towns to go to. Aside from the inactive GameMasters, I only find one flaw with Maplestory, and that is the EXCESSIVE time spent traveling from island to island. Boat rides take from 15 minutes to 1 hour, just to reach your destination. The only way to avoid those boat rides.. You guessed it. Pay $1 to buy yourself a teleport rock, which enables you to teleport to a player of your choice. Once you use it, it's gone, and there goes your dollar...
Cash shop is very crucial in this game as well, as you need to use the 'Gachapon' which must be Korean for 'Waste your money'. Players spend $1 for 1 ticket to this 'Gachapon'. Once you use it, the machine spits out one random item, and chances are, the item is awful. There is an occasional good item, however, which can either be used by the player, or sold for large amounts of money- But after spending probably $200 on this game, I've come to realize it was definitely not worth my money.
