Correct. Although it seems that if you just disable the Nvidia drivers and install the newest ATI drivers from the AMD/ATI website, it should work just fine. Mine does at least. Don't listen to me though as I am not 100% certain, just follow Thebigrobbyrob's post and you will be good to go, sir.

I say yes...... my disclaimer to you is that i have never tested not uninstalling old hw and using driver sweeper for major hw changes but your system is not going to fail if you dont follow the steps i gave you. at some point you may see some strange errors that could come from the old driver fragments but they are just annoying more than anything else.
My New HD 5770 Is installed, and i'm playing all my games on high settings, and getting 55-65FPS on full Max Settings. It's great. Love my new video card. Recommend to alot of eGO members to get this card if it's in ur budget or get 2 of them and SLI them 
. Installed the drivers, and i was all set xD!! When i'm not in-game browsing the forums, and listening to music like right now i'm at 38C, and when i'm playing BC2 on high settings it's at 70C. But it always seems like it stays at 70C. Is that normal to have a HD 5770 at 70C Gaming at Max???

70C is safe, while not normal. If you were to get a cheap little case with more fans, you would see noticeable temp drops.
But, like I said, it's not normal, but it's perfectly safe. As long as it's under 100C, it's fine.
And for the record, SLI is for nvidia, and CrossfireX (CF or CFX) is for ATI.
Also for the record, Mafia II is looking to be a bitchin' game. Am I allowed to say that on here? lol

Get the demo. It's not out yet. It's like grand theft auto, but mob-style. It's pretty great. You could probably play it at max now!
It looks beautiful. Not the best, but definitely impressive for an open world game. If you think GTAIV looks good, this one will blow you away (graphics-wise).Ight cool. ill give it a try. Also tech wise umm is it normal for my card to be using only 300Mhz Memory Clock, and 157Mhz Core Clock without being in-game, and just browsing the internet, and listening to music, and youtube. It's supposed to stay that low right, because once i got in-game it's at 850Mhz Core Clock, and 1200Mhz Memory Clock??

Yep. Those are the 2d/idle speeds.
My card is at 51MHz core, 101MHz shader, and 135MHz memory. So yeah, they're supposed to be that low. It saves power and makes your system run cooler at idle.

Yeah for sure. I'm happy as anything. I'm Surprised i'm not having trouble considering i'm running on a 400W PSU. It seems fine. No Smelling of burntness or something, and no noise other then putting my fan speed at 85% when i play games. 100% is soo loud, but it cools down the card, but using alot of energy right? Also i kno for a fact that i did this right, but just making sure. When i opened upp the ATI Card, it came with the you know Powersupply connector, and i opened my case, and it was the only wire what was sticking out of my computer conntected from the Powersupply, and so i conntected it 2 that, and the other end to my Video card lol. I would now by now if it wasn't the right conntecter, but it was the only wire sticking out of the powersupply, and it fit fine lol.

You can do what I do for temps: Make a fan profile in MSI Afterburner.
I'll upload some pics in a sec.
I Don't get it by making profiles. I Do use MSI After Burner because of you which i thank alot. But do you mind using Team Viewer with me? Because everytime i start upp my pc MSI Afterburner comes upp with like a user control panel thing, and i gotta hit yes inorder for it to get the fan speed i requested to have right away when it starts. it only starts when i click yes on the user control panel. i hate the run as administrator stuff lol

Follow ze directions.
1. Click settings
2. Fan tab
3. set up the fan profile however you want. Mine (as shown) is a 1:1 ratio, so if it's at say, 45C, the fan is at 45% speed.
That is what it should look like when it's done.
(And don't ask how I have 1.213v >.>)
