Dod maps are being ported over to FA:S!
Check out this video I just made of Argentan!
This is a free source mod more than worth the download!
There is a vent Channel for this mod in the insurgency section of vent!
To download the game just go here

1) Install Firearms: Source Client 1.0 (EXE)
2) Install Firearms: Source Client & Server Patch 1.0c (EXE)
3) Install Firearms: Source Client & Server Patch 1.0d (EXE)
4) Restart steam click Firearms 1.0d and enjoy!
5) Join the eGO FA:S steam group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/eGOFS

damn, FA was awesome even pre-source, not sure how it's going to work out with old maps from dod but I'll try it out, thanks for the rec. and inb4 move to misc. games :D
 
a warning to dods guys going to try this out.

this game WILL destroy your recoil control, i couldnt use support for a week after first playing this and im still not back to normal.... i guess that explains why ive been using the rifles so much :(

yea it's not only dod maps just 2 custom ones at the moment,
the others are on there way but FA:S has 8 maps of it's own.

No nothing even close to it trust me way more fun!

250 tickets for each team!
If the opposing team caps your check points you lose 50 tickets! (in certain game modes)
....and much much more!

nah ill pass it just looks like skins(Imo) and i like world war 2 not this modern type junk
 
I played it yesterday with Brain and it wasnt my cup of tea. Ill try and play it somemore but, I dont have high hopes of it becoming a game I play frequently

It look interesting but I don't know if I would spend as much time on it. DoD:S - FTW.
 
Yea this game takes some time to get use to like any other game I hope you guys that didn't like it at first give it another try sometime soon! We have a eGO member running a server for it but there will soon be an official eGO server for it so hopefully you guys will come back and support the server!
