We had a good number of pubs playing. Let's make an effort from the whole community to get on board with this map. This server is a one of a kind in DoD. If we get this map popular I feel we can quickly get Anzio to the number one spot so LET'S GET IN THERE! I NEED EVERYONES HELP!

Great map!
A tip for new people on Anzio that was taught to me. The Allies must take and control the Church within the first 30 seconds and the Axis the Bridge. These are the two closest points to each sides first flag and therefore easier to hold. An experienced team can win rather easily within 2 or 3 minutes if they take their two man capture, i.e. the Church or Bridge first, and then hold long enough to take the enemies two man flag. The spawn flags for each side are easy to take. A team will play defense and die for nothing until they lose if they do not take their two man capture early and hold.
Also, the least affective main weapon in Anzio in my opinion is the 30CAL. The most needed spot to use it is the Church. The problem is it is too easy to take out. Without backup you can always get behind the deployed area. The Axis MG42 can be a monster in the right hands and is harder to flank.

Yes was great fun, I enjoyed killing some of the "big boy's" and Dutch got in my way to many time's. Played this map many time's and it is good for sniper's and MG's.
well i feel anzio is a good map for the instant respawn, i played on some random 1's and alot of people dispise the wait time, so this instant respawn should easily help push this server to the top, if you cant play just sit in there and Seed it, always helps out servers, and BTW there is and award
