My new Alienware M11X Laptop

For those of you saying "why does a laptop need to be able to play games smoothly?". It's because they are more portable l, can go places desktops can't. For me I switch houses every week and it would be a pain to pack up a desktop every week, so it's just easier to pack up a laptop and go.

On a related note, I've been looking at the alienware laptops and am trying to decide if I should buy one once. Have the spare money

I see 1 thing wrong is the

Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU @ 1.20Ghz, curently overcloaked a 1.66Ghz

I believe they have a M11X 1.66 OC to 2.26 now.. but for the price i wouldnt get that. but if you say it works well then I am happy for you.

It's my mistake on this. The core is 1.20, overcloaked to 1.66 and Turbo Boosted to 2.26.

Well, the thing is, I'm not into big gaming, and when I'm at my house, I game on my 27" PC, but I like to be able to dominate some peps on the road with this 11" laptop.

That i7 in the m11x can go higher than 2.26, those are "factory overclock" turbo boost numbers. The blck is adjustable and have seen people take it to 161-166 giving you a nice 2.737ghz overclock as the multiplier tops out at 17x . Try that out Korgot, see what kind of increase you get in game- especially BFBC2 . CPU scaling is huge with that title.
