Basically it turns on all fans work (cpu fan works fine), red light is constant and optical works i presume harddrive works (may be ram problem) not sure anyone can help?!?

how far into the boot process does you PC get (bios screen, windows loading) before freezing/shutting off? have you checked the TS section of the mobo manual (usually there is some discription of what the problem could be if that light is red). The more info you give, the better we can help you.

How you opened up the casing and made sure all your hardware was connected securely? And as said above, do you get anywhere in the boot process?

Hi

this is exsactly what happends i plug power supply cord in then i press start up button at front of case it turns on then turns off again and then everything powers up including the fans and cpu fan i beleive the hardrive does and optical drive does definitly i opens but there is a red light on the mobo that shows.

note : if i take 4 pin out it stays on constantly but cannot turn off manual from front of case and have to turn psu off. it says the monitor is on power saving mode /!?!??!!?!

ineed help!

could you upload a top-down-view picture of your motherboard of decent quality so I (We) can take a look at your plugins, etc?

when you say power on again, like it tries to boot again or just the peripherals come back on?

From what you describe, im going to guess that its not getting past the bios check (there could be potential hardware issues...), but before trying to track if its a peice of bad hardware, i suggest resetting the CMOS and trying again. did you run anything on a 24/7 overclock?
